Dividends in May/June 2023
It's been a period with plenty of dividend payments which is always enjoyable especially now when I need to take out money instead of adding.
E.On paid out 204.00 € of which the German taxman kept 53.80 € and I was left with 150.20 € as cash on my broker account.

TJX paid me 19.78 €, US withheld 2.96 € and I got 16.82 € on my broker account.
The next dividend payment I'm not really happy about. I wanted Luc to keep re-investing the earnings into the business or other endeavours for that matter!
Tessenderlo paid out 127.50 €, the taxman in Belgium kept 38.25 € and I got 89.25 € on my broker account.
IBM provided me with 38.34 €, tax withheld was 5.76 € and I got 32.58 € in cash.

Bought stocks during December 2022
With the increasing interest rates on mortgages I took the decision to invest in a bank (and others) spread in GBP. This could be done due to that I had sold off the fast food investments in the highly valued dollar.
The Swedish currency is currently low valued and the Swedish stock market have reduced significantly. Sweden is an export heavy country so they will profit from the low valuation of the currency and I will hopefully get a double effect; Currency + stock market going up, so buying an ETF seemed reasonable to me.
500 shares were bought in Barratt Homes for a total value of 2,289.68 € or 4.58 € per share.
1,900 shares were bought in Barclays bank for a total value of 3,384.10 € or 1.78 € per share.
6,500 shares were bought in Lloyds bank for a total value of 3,352.66 € or 0.52 € per share.
270 shares were bought in Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust for a total value of 2,293.44 € or 8.49 € per share.
700 shares were bought in HSBC bank for a total value of 3,953.82 € or 5.65 € per share.
4,900 parts were bought in ETF SWE for a total value of 30,167.53 € or 6.16 € per share.
The monthly update that follows will reflect these changes made to the stock portfolio.

Dividends from January to April 2020
With this publication I am now finally on top of things again! All the dividends from the past has been sorted out (2018 and 2019) and now I have caught up with the dividends payments during 2020. I have also managed to make my simplistic analysis of all my current holdings and unfortunately all of them are not in the state that one would have liked to see. The three big ones there are my two German banks DB and Coba but also K+S has now joined the children choir of sorrow.
During these four months I have received:
Two dividend payments from Nike in total 17.63 €
Associated British Foods paid out 40.23 €
DBAG gave a nice payment of 232.50 €
Intel arrived with 39.88 €
TJX with measly 13.10 €
IBM with 35.48 €
and finally BP with 72.06 €
As tradition holds all dividends are re-invested with my monthly purchase.
This year will most likely not be very fruitful in terms of dividends due to two reasons:
1. Over 50% of my holdings are in non dividend paying ETFs
2. Many companies have decided to hold on to the cash from 2019.
I've also started to read other finance blogs and it is interesting to see how many of them have handed in the towel. I hope this is because they got tired of writing articles and that they privately are still enjoying the great fun of investing!
I hope all of you are busy reading up on companies and catching some good ones that are now more reasonably priced and you can be sure that I will, in the end of each month!

Analysis of Intel 2020
Future: Chips are here to stay. Competitors have arrived and gone and they did make a business opportunity losses in the mobile and tablet market to ARM but what followed in the wake of all these low storage units was cloud servers and there Intel has been standing on very firm ground.
Conclusion: Graham says no but I would say yes to Intel. However due to my fairly significant holding in Intel which is not based on the size of my initial investment but based on the development of Intel and the share price increase that has followed I am personally no longer interested in increasing my holding but I will just watch it grow and count my blessings for stepping in at a good point in time for Intel.
