German inside trading: May 2016

Germany, inside trading, May, 2016

Since I will freeze my German stock portfolio when I move the the UK I will also not follow the German market as well as I have been doing in the future. With this comes that I will no longer make any insider trading reports concerning the German stock market and I will see if I will manage to start doing that in the UK and then especially if I will manage to find a good source for extracting the information.

This will therefore be the final inside trading report for the German market and I must say that the manages have been pretty active.

German inside trading: April 2016

Inside trading, Germany, April, 2016

The prices of owning parts in companies have kept increasing also during April. In the beginning there was a little dip and it will be interesting to see if the managers used to to strengthen their holdings. I can directly say that the activity has been very low during the months! In worst cases I have to go over around ten pages of data and this time it it is only three making my life easier.

German inside trading: March 2016

Inside trading, Germany, March, 2016

From one month ago the overall share prices have increased for the deepest point that took place in February. The managers were then also fairly active and especially in terms of buying shares in their companies. Share prices have now increased again which one might think would lead to less buying.

German inside trading: February 2016

Inside trading, Germany, February, 2016

The share price movement on the stock markets are a bit like a slowfox with the basic step slow, slow, quick, quick. Every now and then there is some spinning around in the quick, quick procedure and sometimes one walk backwards and sometimes forwards.

The question is however what are the managers up to during this slowfox? Are they lurking around in the audience or are they out trying to steal the show?

It is very clear that the managers are lurking around in the background, one part due to annual reports arriving but there might also be other reasons...

German inside trading: January 2016

Inside trading, Germany, January, 2016

Woow what I start of the year! Wonderful buy opportunities have appeared in more or less every part of the world. Great! I went to the site to check the activity of the managers and I was astonished over how little activity there had been. Maybe they also had an expensive Christmas / New Year party and decided to tighten the belt a little or due to the massive reporting season coming up with Q4, full year and Q1 many of them are maybe not even allowed to trade. Either way it was very low activity!

German inside trading: December 2016

Inside trading, December, 2015

To be honest with you all I have not followed the stock market very well during the last month. It was simply too much with work, studies and well... buying Christmas gifts and being on vacation at least in the end of it and all this combined made me less interested in following daily movements on the stock market.

Inside trading, Germany, November, 2015

The share prices have kept running higher and higher during the month and the bad news is that it is not based on the companies publishing excellent results for Q3... well... at least my companies have not shown anything to be happy about. The mangers might however see things differently. They know that their savings program will start working during the fourth quarter etc.

Germany, insider trading, September, 2015

The month has been filled with mixed emotions in Europe. The shares prices have increased like crazy to the very next day fall like crazy again. Personally I have been buying like crazy during the month so the question is... what did the managers do?

Inside trading, September, Germany, 2015

The share price drop have continued for another month. In many countries in Europe the yearly increase that took place during spring have now been wiped out and are even showing a bit of minus. In the US they are down by -10% for the year. The more the share price decreases the more interesting it is to observe what the managers are doing.

insider trading, Germany, August, 2015

The share prices of many companies have gone down significantly during the last weeks and therefore it is of course even more interesting to see which managers decided to pick up a larger holding in the company they run.

German inside trading: July 2015

Inside trading, Germany, July, 2015

The classical monthly report on the the German managers doings and what nots during the month of July is finally here! My direct guess is that vacation has hit Germany because the activity have decreased to a more pleasant level. The biggest worries during July was not Greece but it has been China and every company with exposure to China have seen their share price decrease. So if you have BMW as an example... did the managers sell off their shares during this rumble?

German inside trading: June 2015

Germany, insider trading, June, 2015

June arrived and passed and with it there were also registered insider trades occurring. The activity on the stock market has been up and down and all over the place. The zero interest rate + Greece seems to make it difficult for the market to place a correct value on a company. The question is if the managers in the company are better able to do this?

Inside trading, Germany, May, 2015

The fear regarding Greece have once again been hammering on the door with plenty of coverage in media and the question is how did the managers respond to this? My guess would be little but we shall see!

German inside trading: April 2015

Inside trading, Germany, April, 2015

April of 2015 now belongs to the past and will never return again. It is therefore time to take a closer look at what the German managers and key company people were up to. My first impression is that they have not been very active. April is the start of the dividend paying season in Germany (most companies pay only ones per year) which on its own leads to strong decreases in share price on the day of payment but it should not lead to any significant changes in the stock portfolio.

So what were they then up to? Oh, and this article never works out as it should over email so please visit the blog to read the list in full if you are interested.

German inside trading: March 2015

Inside trading, Germany, March, 2015

March has been a month mixed of excitement as well as fear which has lead to big daily fluctuations. The managers are of course no different than the market which means they have been very active during March. Too active for my liking by the initial look of it!

Inside trading, Germany, February, 2015

The bull run continued during February to the great joy of everyone that decided to keep their stocks (around +5%). According to statistics I read many German small investors had already 2014 moved their money out of the stock market. I wonder when they will panic and jump back in again. Most likely at the wrong moment with losses to follow. Never jump in out of panic, jump in when others panic.

January, 2015, inside trading, Germany

No one will have missed the latest market excitement that has caused for instance DAX to bull run around +10% during January. The expectations are high which comes more from the QE from ECB than that the companies will actually increase their earnings substantially during 2015. Still with a weaker euro the export might increase and there are also good news from Spain showing increased growth.

For whatever reason this article is never been passed on correctly on the feed. I guess it has to do with all the links that is in it which means I am not able to change it.
The new year has started but we still need to take a look in the rear view mirror to make our future selections.

Germany, insider trading, November, 2014

Ouch, by the first look of it then they have been busy again here in Germany so lets see if that is really the case or just the same activity having in a few companies. Managers are like any other herd... if one start buying then others often also do.

Inside trading, insiders, Germany, October, 2014

October has been weather wise a horrible month here in Berlin and on the stock markets several contrarian possibilities opened up. How did then the management and the insiders repsond to this turbulent times?
